A sweet little Onyx set in fine silver bezel to hold the snake.  The sterling silver backplate was etched in a line design and stamped on backside with my makers mark and sterling. All joins have been soldered for strength.  The 18" sterling silver chain closes with my signature hook and eye clasp.  Pendant hangs just over 3-1/2" from ring the chain thread through.  All silver was given a dark patina and polished back to highlight the details.  Made with love in my Oregon studio.  
 

Onyx is said to eliminate negative thinking and is believed to sharpen the wits of the wearer. Black onyx helps improve concentration and devotion which is why many rosaries are made of black onyx. Since onyx is a strength-giving stone, it assists with confidence and is useful for athletes or people under stress!
