Kingman Turquoise & Sterling Silver Bolo Tie

Bolo Ties are one of my favorite accessories to wear!!!! They go with anything......from jeans to tuxedos.  Both women and men are wearing them because they're just that cool!  And this really cool Kingman Turquoise is such a gorgeous shade of blue. She's bezel set in fine silver onto a sterling silver backplate that has been textured with Metalsmith tools. Setting measures 1-1/2" across x 7/8" at widest point. Backside has my makers mark and sterling. The loops on the slide for the leather were left unsoldered so they can be tightened or loosened.  On 36" black braided bolo leather with silver tips on the ends. The silver has been given a dark patina and polished back to show details. 
 

NOTE:  I always recommend you hang up your bolo ties after wearing so they take a set.  If the leather starts to curl up just lay the bolo on a hard surface and straighten out and set something on the leather strips until they take a good set.
