Therapy
"Therapy" Is an original acrylic painting to help me get over my traumatic childhood occurrence involving a creepy "Dennis the Menace" neighborhood kid that dropped a snake down the back of my shirt. And his name was really Dennis! The snake totally freaked as my shirt had elastic on the bottom so it couldn't get out. So my friend I was walking with had to get it out of there! She was definitely my hero that day!!!! So after many years of screaming if I came across one I decided to use art to help my phobia. I've made snake jewelry and now a snake painting. I know a lot of you love them and truthfully I never was afraid until that incident, but now I try to avoid them like the plague. Hard to do when I love going to places they frequent. And they have visited my backyard a few times each year. But at least now I don't run into the house screaming. Painted on 9" x 12" acid free linen acrylic art paper with a 1" black border and backside has a sunset painting so you get 2 for price of 1! Hang this guy vertical or horizontal…..however look you want! Painting is signed and sealed for protection.
Most of my art is inspired by my favorite places to be…..the mountain lake areas and the Pacific Coast, fields of wildflowers, wildlife within my home state of Oregon. And of course my wild imagination. I hope my art brings a smile to your face.
