White Buffalo Necklace

Natural White Buffalo stone bezel set in fine silver on a sterling silver backplate heavily textured.  Pendant measures 2-1/8” from top of my hand forged bail x 1” at widest point. Hangs by 4 rings on an 18-1/2” sterling silver rolo chain with 4 Turquoise stones and a sterling silver bead placed asymmetrically on one side for accent.  All silver has been given a dark patina.  Closes with my hand formed hook and eye clasp. Great piece of jewelry for men or women. Handmade by me with love.

NOTE:  The trade name “White Buffalo” is used to identify the stone from the Tonopah, Nevada mine owned by the Otteson family. The white stone is surrounded by black and brown flint-like chert (an opaque variety of quartz) which creates beautiful patterns, and sometimes in rare pieces, a spider-web matrix.
