A Teredo-bored petrified wood fossil shaped like a witches claw. It's named this because little clams called "teredos" drilled tiny holes into the wood before it fossilized.....and it is shaped like a "witches claw". The stone is bezel set in fine silver wire onto a sterling silver backplate. I added a sterling silver crescent moon and a tree and heavily textured the backplate. The backside has a hand forged tube for the chain and my makers mark and sterling. Pendant measures 1-3/8" x 1-3/4" and hangs on an 18" sterling silver chain with my signature hook and eye clasp. Handmade with love in my Oregon studio.
