“Pebbles” Kingman Turquoise Necklace

This piece was inspired by a silver pebble ring I purchased some years ago (last photo). I vowed to make a pebble pendant some day. A brilliant blue Kingman Turquoise set in fine silver next to a "pebble creek".  I textured the backplate using a bur to mimic little ripples in the water. I made the pebbles from fine silver and my torch. We spend a lot of time in the woods by streams and little creeks. I sometimes skip rocks, but not very good at it. Pendant measures just shy of 2" long x 1-1/8" wide and hangs on 2 rings that are soldered together. The chain is 18" rolo chain and has my signature hook and eye clasp. This was one of my challenging pieces but I think it turned out pretty cool!  All silver was given a dark patina bath and polished back to show details. Backside is stamped with my makers mark and sterling. Handmade with love in my Oregon studio.
