Dark Skies

“Dark Skies". Original acrylic painting on 11" x 14" canvas panel ready for framing and painted to edges so no border. Inspired by a photo I took on a road trip years ago. (Photo 2). I loved the moody but serene colors in that photo! I used acrylics and added a ground coffee wash on the darker areas and added more or less paint to create a textured look. Depending where you hang this the shades look a little different depending on the light. Painting is sealed with UV protection sealant. Painting is signed on backside. Most of my art is inspired by my favorite places to be…..the mountain lake areas and the Pacific Coast, fields of wildflowers and wildlife within my home state of Oregon. I hope my art brings a smile to your face.
