This was inspired by our drive through the forest backgrounds last week. We have a 4wd so we chose a rocky dusty one to go over the mountains. Along the way we stopped at numerous pullouts along the creeks to breathe in all the scents and beauty of the water and forest. The big trees clustered together and wildflowers everywhere are magical. We saw no one else during our drive, and the solitude put me in a happy place. Gazing into the forest makes me wonder how many creatures are staring down at us through the trees. Occasionally the dogs would growl and stare but nothing emerged. But the white water flowing down the creeks was my favorite part of the drive. In the sun the water seems to take on some cool colors!
Acrylic fluid art on 10” square x 3/4” canvas. I let the paint have some negative space on each side. Painted on the side so no framed required.
Most of my art is inspired by my favorite places to be…..the mountain lake areas, high desert, Pacific Coast, fields of wildflowers and wildlife within my home state of Oregon. I hope my art brings a smile to your face.
