Years ago we drove from Idaho back home to Oregon after attending a music festival. My husband mentioned we should go see the beautiful painted hills in Eastern Oregon as I had never been in that area before. He was right they were breathtaking, the most vibrant colors imaginable that day as the sun was shining down on them. So when I was thinking about what I was going to paint yesterday I just wanted to used warm colors and this is how it turned out.
A smaller painting, using acrylics on a 6” x 8” x 1” canvas on wood. Painting is signed and sealed with semi-gloss sealant. Painted on sides and a sawtooth hook on backside for hanging.
Most of my art is inspired by my favorite places to be…..the mountain lake areas and the Pacific Coast, fields of wildflowers and wildlife within my home state of Oregon. I hope my art brings a smile to your face.
