The Wolf and the Blood Moon

"The Wolf and the Blood Moon”.
A "blood moon" happens when earth’s moon is in a total lunar eclipse. The view of the moon is striking as the usually whitish moon becomes red or ruddy brown. I love wolves and I love moons so I was inspired by some of the cool moons I’ve seen over the years……the blood moon has always been a favorite.

An original painting done by me using acrylic paints on canvas stretched on wood. Measuring 8” x 8”. Canvas was painted on sides making it ready to hang (no frame required). Sealed with UV protection sealant. Painting is signed. (No frame included - The frames in photos were digitally added for contrast.)

Most of my art is inspired by my favorite places to be…..the mountain lake areas and the Pacific Coast, fields of wildflowers and wildlife within my home state of Oregon. I hope my art brings a smile to your face.
